Early January brought us the surprising and, let's be honest, painful realisation that baby Emma from Friends would, in fictional terms, be turning 18 next year. A great start to 2019, huh?

But it got us to thinking... Ross and Rachel's daughter wasn't the only sprog sprung by the Central Perk gang. How old are the rest, and what do the actors who played them look like now?

Prepare once again to feel shocked and, yes, really, really old.

Ben Geller

Ross's son with his lesbian ex-wife Carol Willick, Ben appeared in 16 episodes across Friends' 10-year run (17, if you count his appearance in the extended uncut version of 'The One Where Phoebe Hates PBS'.)

He would be 23 today. *sobs*

Four actors are credited as playing the character during his time on the series. The first, Michael Gunderson, appeared in season two as infant Ben, but fell off the radar after that. He was replaced for seasons three to five by twin toddlers Charles Thomas Allen and John Christopher Allen, but again, neither brother pursued an acting career after Friends. The fourth and final Ben was, of course, Cole Sprouse, who assumed the role of the now rather mischievous youth. Sprouse went on to co-lead Disney Channel's sitcom The Suite Life of Zack and Cody from 2005 to 2008 (he was Cody, with his twin brother Dylan playing Zack), followed by spin-off The Suite Life on Deck until 2011. These days, he's busy brooding up a storm as oddball sex symbol Jughead on 'sexed-up Archie Comics' series Riverdale. Oh, and he looks like this now. ⤵️

Emma Geller Green

Ross and Rachel's daughter – conceived after the latter wooed the former with her (fictional) tales of backpacking across Western Europe – popped up in 22 episodes of Friends. Surprisingly, that's more than her half-sibling Ben.

She'd be 16 today. *plucks another grey hair from own head*

NBC

From her first appearance and throughout the show's ninth season, Emma was played by two different sets of twins – Elizabeth and Genevieve Davidson, and Alexandra and Athina Conley. The part was recast for the final Friends run in 2004, with another pair of twins, Cali and Noelle Sheldon, being swapped in. The Sheldon sisters – who, like Emma – are 16, have continued acting, often appearing together in short films like 2012's Agorable and 2016's Rougarou, and the 2007 pilot episode of the Damian Lewis drama Life. But this year will see Cali and Noelle take on their most high-profile role since Friends, with the siblings appearing in Jordan Peele's much anticipated Get Out follow-up, Us – a psychological horror about doppelgängers. Jack and Erica Bing

Monica and Chandler's twins, adopted from a young woman also named Erica (played by Anna Faris), appeared only in Friends' two-part series finale. Jack and Erica would be 14 today. (You get the vibe by now – we're not OK with this.)

NBC

Unfortunately, the infants playing the twins were never credited on-screen, so we have no way of knowing what they look like now. (As for the fictional Jack and Erica, we hope they're not too snooty after being brought up in Westchester.)

Phoebe's triplets

Remember how Phoebe gave birth to her brother's babies? (Long story.)

Born in late 1998, Frank and Alice's triplets would now all be 20. (Argh, etc.)

NBC

The babies playing Leslie, Chandler (the girl version) and Frank Jr Jr went uncredited for their first appearance in season five's 'The One Hundredth', but when the kids reappear a year later in 'The One With Joey's Porsche', they are actually played by quadruplets: Alexis, Cole, Justin and Paul Cimoch. Here are the Cimoch siblings at their high school graduation in June of 2017. (Because, again, you are old.)

The triplets returned as toddlers in season 10 standout 'The One Where Ross Is Fine' – now recast with Dante Pastula playing Frank, Sierra Marcoux playing Chandler, and Allisyn Ashley Arm playing Leslie.

NBC

Pastula went on to appear in 2004's The Polar Express and the short film Ablution in 2007, which also starred Marcoux, her other most notable credit being a role in 2007 horror The Poughkeepsie Tapes. Allisyn Ashley Arm, though, has worked solidly since Friends, most notably playing Zora Lancaster in Disney Channel sitcom Sonny with a Chance (2009-2011) and its spin-off So Random! (2011-2012). The 22-year-old currently appears opposite It's Always Sunny's Glenn Howerton in NBC sitcom A.P. Bio as high-schooler Heather, with a second season set to debut on March 7.

NBC

We always suspected she'd go far. After all, Leslie was the only one of the twins who knew how to burp the alphabet. This content is imported from {embed-name}.
