A materialistic person spends their time working toward, plotting, and planning on how they can get that the latest electronic device or build up their bank account. They’re less concerned with experiences than they are with stuff. When you’re materialistic, you’re not satisfied with what you've got. Sometimes when people are materialistic, it can get in the way of their relationships. A materialistic person can become so consumed with getting something that they neglect their loved ones and their relationships.
