In fact, various studies show that just practising “standing in a confident posture” can affect our mindset and make us feel more confident. There are many aspects that one can keep in mind in order to look and feel more confident, some of them are as follows:

Make an eye contact-

one can easily appear to be confident by making eye contact. When you’re able to maintain eye contact, you’re communicating to others that you’re honest, approachable and confident.

Watch your hands-

one should be careful about continuously touching their faces or neck, as this may indicate that you’re feeling anxious, nervous or scared.

Always avoid your pockets-

one should always keep their hands outside of their pockets to look more self-assured and confident.

Stand up straight-

It is very common that, those who have social anxiety tend to take up as little space as possible, and often they end up slouching, which shows their anxiousness. So, take a deep breath, straighten your back, pull your shoulders away from your ears, and uncross your arms and legs. Therefore, I would like to conclude by saying that, body language plays a major role in communication, and confidence is key to success in many areas of our lives. Confident people stand out at work, in social situations, and in group settings.
