Hmmm: The chin is the second biggest erogenous zone for men, according to a new survey The chin is the second biggest erogenous zone for men, according to a new survey. Only 21% of more than 7,000 men said that their genitals are the most sensitive part of their body. After that the neck, lower abs and inner thighs all received the stamp of approval as erogenous zones. Other surprising results dent the long held beliefs that men don't like foreplay, would always choose physical stimulation over mental, and prefer to dominate in the bedroom. The survey conducted by a dating site delved into the bedrooms of 7,158 of its male members to peel back the covers on their preferences. While 75% of men said they like foreplay, the rest said they didn't think it was important. The majority want the woman to take the initiative, but don't want them to do it with disrespect or by taking advantage. The majority of men say they indulge in foreplay around 70% of the time, with only 12% taking the time to do it every time they have sex. Five per cent of men confessed to never indulging in foreplay. We are constantly told that men are turned on by visual and physical stimulation, whereas for women it's mostly in the mind. However, it appears a dirty dictionary and sexting skills are more important than sexy undies and wrist action, with 68% of the men stating they get more turned on by foreplay with the mind than the body. Take charge: The majority want the woman to take the initiative 'in a sexy manner' When only able to make one choice for the most sensitive part of their body, a surprising 79% skipped the box marked 'genitals'. More obvious ones like the buttocks, inner thighs and lower abs were also overlooked in favour of the chin in first place (13%), while the neck was ticked as the main erogenous zone for 12% of the men. Others chose even less obvious body parts including eyelids, backs of the knees and feet. The Founder and CEO of Victoria Milan, the dating site for married people looking to cheat that commissioned the reasearch, said the results show that men are more attentive and sensitive in the bedroom than women give them credit for. 'Taking the time for mental and physical foreplay, identifying erogenous zones and enjoying it when the woman takes the initiative are all signs that men love pleasing women,' he said. Referring to the fact that his site is for people looking to cheat on their current partner, he added: 'The fact that these encounters might be with someone outside your relationship adds an extra element of danger, excitement and lust.'
