Back in the day, ‘soulmate’ was an exaggerated term, and in all honesty, it still is an overused term. People feel that soulmate is one person who is actually meant for them, who is going to be there with them for the rest of their lives, someone whom they are going to have a family with and have a happily-ever-after with. In reality, a soulmate is basically someone who belongs to the same soul group or who has been a part of your spiritual journey or your lifetime journey, from all the lifetimes you have lived. In this lifetime, they have just come to be around you, watch over you in human form. Your parents, siblings, friends, a business partner, a colleague, grandparents, your children or even a romantic partner can be your soulmate.

Soulmates are those:

- who come from the same soul group as you.

- who choose to be around you, not definitively throughout your lifespan on earth but a major part of it.

- who resonates with a similar frequency as yours.

So, your soulmate and you, consciously or subconsciously choose a path which is parallel in different ways of learning the same lessons so that you all are at different frequencies. Of course, the way you learn your lessons and the way they learn their lessons can be through different situations but the lessons are more or less the same.

The only thing is that they do it with a lot of kindness, compassion, the intent is for your highest good.So, for all those of you all who have been sitting around waiting for the ideal person to come by, please understand that this is all a myth. A soulmate can come in any form, so stop waiting for the right, perfect partner to come along and tag him or her a soulmate. Just because you have a perfect relationship with someone does not mean he or she is your soulmate. Until then, don’t chase it; allow it to come to you. If you chase it, you are not learning any lesson; it could be a lesson of patience, trust and self-love. When it comes to you gracefully, it will sustain longer, and you will be able to fully receive what the person has to contribute in your life and vice versa.
