Your twin flame runner is running from themselves, and from your connection, and they will keep running until their feeling of needing to run is gone. During that time, they will do everything in their power to rid you from their lives, including blocking you, ghosting you, trying to pretend you don’t exist, maligning you to their friends and family, and generally making you out to be someone they absolutely want nothing to do with. They’re actually running from their own feelings, not you. You’re only the trigger for those feelings. Your twin flame runner will continue to run until there’s nothing left to run from. At this point, they may stop, think about things a bit, and maybe even realize that what they thought they were running from was actually better than what they have found where they ran to. No matter how long it’s been since the separation started, there comes a time when the chaser will realize nothing is going to bring their runner back. At this time, they may choose to live their own life again, realizing that the longer they persist, the longer they are putting their own life on hold, with nothing to show for it. The runner will only return when there is no longer anything to run from. They share a soul with their chaser, so they know subconsciously if they are still chasing. There is no guarantee that the runner will return, so it’s best for the chaser to just consider them dead and gone and get on with their own life. The experience of living your life without your twin flame is a valid one, since all experiences in 3D teach us something. This one teaches the heartache of having loved and lost, of having union within your grasp and having it snatched away. Eventually, in another life perhaps, there will be another chance at union, preceded by a balancing of the karma left over from this attempt. The runner hurts themselves as much as they hurt their chaser, and it could be said that the chaser perpetuates the running, so the karma is complex for both twin flames. There are those who say twin flames aren’t supposed to be like this, but there are no rules with twin flames, other than that we are meant to recognize our own soul in another person and ‘come home’ eventually. It’s the journey to home for both twin flames which is important, not the destination.
