If you are in college, this is a great starter job. Since the pandemic, crew members would get free meals while on shift, discounts if not on shift, and much more. Closing shifts at a 24 hour store are fairly laid back as long as you have a good team. When the store is properly staffed, there is plenty of help and there is solid organization where everyone knows what to do and what station they are responsible for.

A lot of drama happens and you'll see it if you stay there long enough. There can be managers who are completely unprofessional both in harassment/sexual misconduct and favoritism and upper management doesn't even notice what they are doing until it's gone on for months and they are finally disciplined or terminated. Your coworkers can definitely vary and be pretty bad at times with gossiping and rumor spreading, especially because many are in high school rather than college and above. A lot of people on certain shifts don't handle their positions properly and it causes slow downs in the drive through which fall back on the entire team.
