She filmed her thumb with a magnifying filter on Instagram to analysis the lines on her thumbs and she reveals in the caption she saw the letter 'B'. Lots of commenters decided to try it for themselves, and posted their results. While a second person quipped: "Mines got a W I’m married to J I don’t know who W is but I can’t wait to meet him". And while some Instagram users were totally sold on the idea, others were less convinced and got mixed results. "This is crazy," wrote on impressed person.

Another user wrote: "Ooooo freaky! .. gunna check mine now."

While another person joked: "I guess my theft thumb messed up the assignment because I don’t see not one letter!"

And someone else teased: "Got the bluetooth symbol".

A woman named Kayla tweeted: "Apparently you can see your soulmate's initials in the creases on your left thumb. So if you see a K in there let me know."

While another account simply tweeted: "My thumb doesn’t have a soulmate initial."

And a third person shared their mum's brutal response after he failed to find an initial on his thumb. "My mom showed me this tik tok about how you can see your soulmate initials on your left thumb.

Men and women look their best in their thirties, experts say

Women and men are considered to be at their most attractive in their thirties, a US survey of 2,000 people has found. The study, carried out by Allure magazine, found women are considered most beautiful at 30, show signs of ageing at 41, stop looking 'sexy' at 53 and are thought of as 'old' at 55. Whereas men look most handsome at 34, start to age at 41, stop looking 'good' at 58 and are seen to be 'old' at 59. The research also looked at the average ages people started using anti-ageing creams. It was found to be 37 for both men and women, with 42 per cent of women and 18 per cent of men saying they would consider having anti-ageing injections or plastic surgery. Speaking to newspaper the Daily Telegraph, Jillian Mackenzie, deputy editor of Allure, said: 'In the past it (the ideal age) may have been a little bit younger. Anti-ageing is such a huge topic now and people want to look younger for longer. You see celebrities who are looking amazing into their fifties. 'Across the board the ages for men were quite a bit older than for women and it's interesting that men get an extra four years.' What do you think about the results of this survey?
