Tarot Cards grant temporary buffs during Crusade runs in Cult of the Lamb, allowing you to survive longer and bring back more valuable resources to your Cult. This guide includes all 36 Tarot Cards, what power or ability each one grants, how to unlock individual cards, as well as a checklist to keep track of your collection. While on a Crusade run, you'll most likely encounter Clauneck, the Tarot Card reader NPC. You'll have the option to choose one of two Tarot cards to take with you for the remainder of your run. Later, you'll unlock the ability to purchase a second card in addition to the free one you receive. Tarot Cards are removed from your inventory when you return to your Cult's village, so make sure you take full advantage of each one during your run. There's also no limit to the amount of Tarot Cards you can hold at any given time.

The Hearts I

How to Unlock: Unlocked by defeating Ratau in Knucklebones. He'll travel to the Lonely Shack after you complete all his tutorial quests and invite you to visit.

Effect: Gain an extra two Red Hearts.

How to Unlock: Sold by Ratoo at a Heart Room for 100 Gold. Heart Rooms are random rooms that can appear while Crusading, depicted by a heart icon on the map as you choose your path.

How to Unlock: Perform a Fight Pit or Wedding Ritual. Either of these doctrines can be picked from the second tier of the Law and Order Doctrines, so you'll be able to get the card regardless of which ritual you pick.

Effect: 20% more damage during the day.

How to Unlock: This Tarot Card will be given by Helob the Spider Merchant, once you have bought a certain number of followers from him. He will appear in a random room when viewing the map during a Crusade, marked by a NPC house icon with a symbol of a follower below it.
