How do you teach a guy to kiss?

Initiate by teasing him with intimate kissing techniques when he least expects, since once his mouth starts moving too much, it's going to be tricky to tame him. Instead, sensuously nibble or gently suck on his lip, and give him a tender surface lip kiss.

A date could be going swimmingly—he's cute, fun, attentive—but then he goes in for the kiss and bonk: It's ended on a subpar note. I'm assuming most of us have been there, and in my opinion, I always think a kiss is worth revisiting a second—or even third—time. But sometimes kissing incompatibility is a bigger issue and calls for some gentle coaching. For instance… A friend of mine came to me with a make-out dilemma. All in all, she had a wonderful first date with an adorable guy, but when it came to the goodnight kiss, it measured a five on the awesome scale. In her words, he was a tad "overzealous," meaning that he moved his mouth too much, and it ended up feeling more awkward than sexy. She asked what she could do to teach him how to be a better kisser, so I called in an expert on the subject: Amy Levine, sex coach and founder of Ignite Your Pleasure. She offered up these helpful tips on how to subtly coax him to slow down and take it easy.

*Show him the way. Initiate by teasing him with intimate kissing techniques when he least expects, since once his mouth starts moving too much, it's going to be tricky to tame him. Instead, sensuously nibble or gently suck on his lip, and give him a tender surface lip kiss. Then, start to set the pace for a more intense make-out using a shallow tongue and tenderly touch his face so it keeps you both at an intimate distance (and prevents him from playing tonsil hockey). If he starts to get overzealous, seductively pull back and make your way to his ear as a segue to reset. Then whisper in his ear how you want him to kiss you. You can say something like, "It makes me hot when you kiss me tenderly." Or, "Let's tease each other's lips." *Have you ever had a date go pear shaped with a kiss? Do you think it's worth offering up techniques and hoping he'll catch on? And, how long do you think she should give it before skedaddling?

What was the longest yawn?

But there are some yawning records worth breaking. Bella, a Pomeranian from Wisconsin, holds a Guinness World Record for the longest recorded yawn at 23 minutes and 8 seconds. For humans, David Rickert achieved a 6-minute-and-46-second yawn on , though my sources are dubious on this fact.

Some say the world is one long unbroken chain of yawning. Historical memory is fuzzy on when the first one took place but it was likely thousands of years ago. Possibly millions. We haven’t stopped yawning since and we’re unlikely to stop anytime soon. In case you were wondering, stretching and yawning at the same time, a combination worth trying if you haven’t yet had the pleasure, is known as pandiculation. We’ve yawned for so long we have some tips to remember for optimized yawning. Cover your mouth when you yawn if you want to prevent your soul from escaping. Cover your mouth when you yawn if you want to prevent evil spirits from entering. Cover your mouth when you yawn so no one knows how bored you are. Another tip is to tally each time you yawn, especially when the hours feel extremely long. I once notched many yawns in a matter of minutes. I stopped tracking them once I realized how inconsequential it was.

But there are some yawning records worth breaking.

Bella, a Pomeranian from Wisconsin, holds a Guinness World Record for the longest recorded yawn at 23 minutes and 8 seconds. For humans, David Rickert achieved a 6-minute-and-46-second yawn on May 27, 1994, though my sources are dubious on this fact. It’s unclear what the record is for most yawns in a day, or a minute, or any other unit of time. Our best guess is that it happened during a business meeting or a webinar demonstration of a completely unnecessary software product.
