Read More »It is very disturbing the way life is being lost in our society. The rate of premature death is alarming. There is no value for human life in developing nations, as people die needlessly and carelessly. Death through road accidents, armed robbery cases, cult clashes, careless killing through accidental discharge by policemen, strategic killing by hired assassins, death through sickness and diseases, political killings, violent crimes, natural disasters and earthquake, among others, are statistically high. Death is the enemy of every human being. Of course, death was not in the original plan of God for mankind until sin entered the world. Death has always been an inevitable vehicle of transition from this world to eternity. For those who belong to the LORD JESUS CHRIST, God promises IRREVOCABLY LONGEVITY OF LIFE. Psalm 91:16 “WITH LONG LIFE I WILL SATISFY HIM, and shew him my salvation.” Long life is God’s covenant heritage for all believers. Longevity is our irrevocable inheritance through the sacrifice of JESUS on the Cross. JESUS died young for us to live long. The power of the grave has been destroyed through the death, burial and resurrection of JESUS CHRIST. The power of death and premature death has been broken over our lives. JESUS is our Resurrection and our Life. We are the products of JESUS the Resurrection and the Life. The hold of death over our lives has been destroyed. We are the generic new creation Zoe Life believers in CHRIST JESUS. Those appointed to die have been set free by the Blood that was shed on the Cross of Calvary. Psalm 79:11 “Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee; ACCORDING TO THE GREATNESS OF THY POWER PRESERVE THOU THOSE THAT ARE APPOINTED TO DIE.” Zechariah 9:11 “As for thee also, by the BLOOD OF THY COVENANT – the Blood of JESUS, I have sent forth Thy prisoners out of the pit wherein there is no water.” Through the Blood of eternal covenant, we move out of the pit of death, dryness, waste and premature death.
