Eat bland and light foods

You probably won’t have much of an appetite, but when you eat, don’t immediately grab a pizza or a steak. Unless you really crave it, heavy foods like that will probably not be a good idea for you right now.

Basically, anything fried, greasy or sweet might make your nausea worse.

Instead, try some plain crackers or some toast.

Slow down when you eat

It’s usually something we do naturally, but when you’re nauseous, try and slow down when you eat.

Gulping down your food will only make you feel worse.

If you’re vomiting, avoid solid foods

In case your nausea got to the point of throwing up, you should wait with consuming solid foods until you feel better.

Until then, make sure that you’re drinking lots of water.

So make sure you keep sipping on water throughout the day.
