Much of the daily news is anxiety-ridden and it's not easy on the old souls, the intuitive ones. When we look to the zodiac, we know there are some signs that are more sensitive and in tune with emotions than others. We spoke astrologer Srna Vuckovic for her advice on which of the signs of the zodiac are likely to be the most sensitive. Technically, the most sensitive are the three water signs as they are ruled by emotions, sensitivity and intuition. Scorpio is the most intense, Cancer is the most emotional but Pisces is the most sensitive. Throughout the zodiac, feminine, yin signs are seen as softer, more psychic and deeply receptive. For me it's always also about those top three, followed closely by Virgo, Gemini, Taurus and Aquarius. Of course all signs are sensitive to some degree, but no signs are as empathic or perceptive of emotion. It's important to note that an individual may also have a chart flooded by Water - especially in their Moon and Venus signs which immediately makes for a more responsive person.

Why are these signs more sensitive than the rest?

Yin energy is nourishing - it helps you be receptive, feel your emotions, nourish and nurture. Pisces, Cancer and Scorpio all have psychic abilities, that is in regards to their emotional receptiveness. They can feel out a person much easier than any other sign. This is because the water element in the zodiac rules the 4th, 8th, and 12th houses - which are all centred around family, esoteric knowledge, symbolism, deep love and truth. Aquarius and Gemini are air signs that are highly mentally aware and super cerebral. They are highly intelligent and can transcend by being in many places at one time. This is because they're naturally curious and observant, and therefore, very sensitive, only inwardly. Virgo and Taurus are earth signs, and the softer duo compared to Capricorn (3rd earth sign). Virgo has the ability to see the big picture. They don't get so wrapped up in minute details. This helps them with psychic abilities and being receptive, they're almost 'too' worried about other people's judgements and opinions. And that makes them incredibly sensitive. Aquarius is a funny one, because they are very much a 'people's person' and are for the 'whole' - so they get bogged down by earth's issues, people suffering all over and the cruel nature of reality - this makes them highly sensitive.
